The MCA Dar Curtis began in 1947 as a way to provide new curlers with the opportunity to curl against regional teams of a similar caliber. In 2023, the spiel transitioned to an Under/Over event. Each team must contain at least two curlers each with five years or less of experience, and two curlers of six or more years of experience each. This 2-day spiel is limited to 16 teams and is free to MCA members. 

Exmoor Country Club will host this MCA Bonspiel from December 16-17, 2023. All participants of MCA-sponsored bonspiels are required to be active, dues-paying members of a regional MCA club.
